Detective Aldridge

Aldridge is a detective with the Odyssey Police force. He works out of the town's police station, where he handles cases both large and small with a practical, helpful manner. When Whit, the owner of Whit's End, investigated a stranger's claim to have lived in the shop as a child, Aldridge confirmed the man was real and had a spotless record. He also suggested the long shot of checking the blueprints at City Hall, a tip that helped unravel the mystery. In another case, he dealt with a girl who had bullied and punched a schoolboy named Danny Schmidt. Aldridge explained that she had developed a crush on Danny, and since the family did not press charges, the police warned her and her parents and ordered her to stay away.
