Red Hollard

Red Hollard is a good-natured handyman in Odyssey, known for his tow truck and for having a folksy saying or story ready for nearly every occasion. He is a friend of John Whittaker, who sometimes borrows Red's cabin for fishing trips. Red is far more at home with engines and toolboxes than with anything fancy. When he joins aspiring chef Trey Calhoun as a partner in a cooking contest, he has never even heard of a julienne. His goofiness hides a warm heart, and his homespun tales often carry real wisdom. One of them, about a mayor who forgives a tow-truck driver's enormous debt, teaches Camilla Parker what forgiveness really means. Above all, Red dearly loves his grandson, who lives far away.
