Prince George

Prince George is the son of King Lawrence, ruler of the kingdom of Maris. Maris is a strange world with two moons, entered by two children from Odyssey, Kyle and Anna, whose story survives in an old notebook from 1958. George is the image of his father, though far better groomed. Where Lawrence's jealousy of the hero general Darien curdles into madness, George quietly takes Darien's side. He once whispered a warning to Darien in Sarum that the Old Judge had named the general the true chosen king, and that the jealous Lawrence knew it. Later he brought word that the king was marching with an army to arrest Darien, giving the general time to flee to the caves of the Valley of the Rocks.
