David Straussberg

David Straussberg is a boy in the town of Odyssey and the older brother of Mandy Straussberg. He is the son of Stephen and Rachel, and he spends much of his time at Whit's End. David is a well-meaning kid with a talent for trouble. He puts off promised chores, plays pranks with his best friend Alex Jefferson, and once earned a ban from Whit's End for terrible table manners. He keeps a pet snake and has little patience for Mandy's cat, Fluffy Face. Yet his conscience always catches up with him. Beneath the teasing and squabbling, he is fiercely loyal to Mandy. When real trouble comes to their family, brother and sister face it side by side.
