Colonel Oliver

Colonel Oliver is an officer of Maris and General Darien's second-in-command. Darien is the most beloved soldier in the land, and of all the men who serve under him, Oliver is the most loyal. His devotion is tested by hard circumstances. King Lawrence's jealousy of Darien turns to madness, and the general is forced to flee the king's reach with a band of faithful followers. Through flight, hiding, and war with Palatia, Oliver remains at his general's side. He is the man Darien can count on when every other support falls away.
