Headlock Harry

Headlock Harry is a fictional outlaw featured in the Wild West serials that air on Kids' Radio, the broadcast produced at Whit's End in Odyssey. He leads a gang of tenants who lease ranch land from Matt Cartwood. Instead of paying what they owe, Harry and his men beat the rent collectors Cartwood sends to them. They then scheme to seize the ranch for themselves. Their plot comes to a head in a high-noon confrontation with the rancher's own son, Jeremy. The story is a dramatization of the parable Jesus told about wicked tenants who turned against the owner's son. Whit uses Harry's tale to show how the religious leaders of Jesus' day rejected Christ, and to teach that the kingdom is entered through repentance and belief.
