Samantha McKay

Samantha McKay is a young girl in Odyssey and the younger sister of Grady McKay. She is the daughter of Kristi McKay, who works hard to hold the household together, and Carson McKay, whose gambling has kept him away from the family. The McKays live simply, and money is often tight. With her mother out working, Samantha is frequently left in Grady's care, and much of her life unfolds in his shadow as he watches over her. She is a small, tender presence in the family. At one Christmas banquet she is seen holding Cotton, a well-loved stuffed lamb that once belonged to another girl. She adores her father despite his long absences.
