Peter
Peter is one of Jesus' apostles, a figure from first-century Jerusalem whom Odyssey's children encounter through Whit's Imagination Station. He is a follower of Jesus during the final days before the crucifixion. On the night his Master was arrested and condemned by the council, Peter denied knowing him three times, just as Jesus had foretold. That failure unfolded within earshot of Digger Digwillow and John Mark, who watched from a Jerusalem rooftop. The material shows little else of him, but his denial stands as one of the sobering moments of that Passover night, alongside the trial before Pilate and the events that followed at the tomb.
