Marvin Washington
Marvin Washington is a boy who lives in Odyssey with his parents, Ed and Elaine, and his sister Tamika. The family makes its home in the old McAlister house, a mansion with more secrets than anyone expected. Marvin is energetic and competitive, quick to dream up big plans and quicker to imagine the applause. He plays drums and starts his own band, plays baseball for the Odyssey Panthers, and plays basketball. He squabbles with Tamika and envies her talents, though the two always come back around. A close friend of Trent DeWhite, Marvin spends much of his time at Whit's End. There the Imagination Station carries him to the American Revolution and to ancient Judah, adventures that deepen his Christian faith. He learns his lessons the hard way, but he learns them.
