Strange things are happening at Whit's End. Inside the Imagination Station, a voice is calling to a curious new girl - the voice of Dr. Regis Blackgaard, the enemy everyone in Odyssey believed was gone forever. How can a dead man reach out from a machine? While Whit, Connie and Eugene race to outwit a foe who twists every truth, the kids of Odyssey are tangled in tricks of their own: fake mind-reading acts, phony advice columns, wild rumors that empty the candy stores. In a town full of make-believe, telling what's real from what only seems real has never been harder. Breaking free will take honesty, courage and faith. Can anyone escape a virtual reality... before it becomes all too real?
