Dr. Regis Blackgaard

Dr. Regis Blackgaard is the chief enemy of John Avery Whittaker and the most dangerous man ever to scheme against the town of Odyssey. Polished and silver-tongued, he poses as a respectable businessman while plotting to control everyone around him, and he will stop at nothing to get his way. Before turning up in Odyssey, he worked as an intelligence agent in Europe. He first came to town seeking a license for a children's amusement house, which served as a front for stealing Applesauce, the secret program hidden in the computer at Whit's End. He later set his sights on a strange mineral buried beneath the shop. His tools are charm, bribery, and forgery, along with hired help such as the sly ex-con Richard Maxwell. He has a twin brother, Edwin.
