Lawrence Hodges

Lawrence Hodges is a young boy in Odyssey whose imagination never takes a day off. In his daydreams he is a secret agent, a World Series hero, or the enemy of a sinister organization called Destructo. He is the younger sidekick of Jimmy Barclay, who first met him as his babysitter and keeps getting pulled into his make-believe missions. Lawrence loves the Imagination Station at Whit's End and lends his voice to Kids Radio broadcasts. His mother, Maureen, is a teacher who raises him largely on her own. His father, Joe, serves in the Navy and is often away, an absence Lawrence feels keenly. His constant pretending sometimes makes it hard for others to believe him when he is telling the truth.
