Donna Barclay

Donna Barclay is the oldest child and only daughter in the Barclay family, one of Odyssey's best-known households. She lives with her parents, George and Mary, and her younger brother Jimmy, who pesters her constantly. Despite all the squabbling, she loves him and her family very much. In many ways Donna is a typical young girl. She enjoys the mall, cares about clothes, and can be bossy with her friends. Yet she has a tender heart. She patiently befriends a lonely widow at the local retirement hall, and she gives up a coveted coat so she can give to missionaries instead. She often turns to John Whittaker at Whit's End for guidance as she works through questions about prayer, friendship, fairness, and growing up.
