Joanne Woodston-Allen
Earlier known as Joanne Woodston
Joanne Woodston-Allen is a warm, well-traveled woman of deep faith who makes her home in Odyssey. She once served on a mission board, and her heart never strays far from mission work. At one point she labors to raise money to rebuild a burned-down church in Sri Lanka. She is married to Jack Allen, and together they own and run the J & J Antiques shop. Their marriage is loving but honest. When pride sparks a quarrel between them over selling a prized antique compass, Joanne prays, swallows her pride, and apologizes first. She is just as steadfast in friendship, quietly keeping a childhood promise for decades. Her gentle, patient witness has led at least one lifelong friend to faith in Christ.
