Jenny Roberts

Jenny Roberts is a blind girl who first comes to Odyssey as Melanie Jacobs' pen pal and later lives in town. She is cheerful and independent, and she hates being treated as though she might break. Her sharp ears and keen memory let her notice things sighted people miss, and she shows real courage under pressure. Jenny is a regular at Whit's End, where she enjoys Whit's guessing games and lessons drawn from the Bible. Her faith runs deep. She trusts that God can use her just as she is, without her sight. Melanie, once only a pen pal, becomes a true friend. She is also best friends with Courtney Vincent, whom she gently helps through hard disappointments.
