Brandon Tuller
Brandon Tuller is a close Christian friend of Katrina Shanks and, for a time, a serious rival to Eugene Meltsner for her affections. A newly ordained minister, he is trusted enough by the Shanks family to officiate when Katrina's parents renew their wedding vows at the Lake Shore Lodge. Where Eugene is brilliant but erratic, Brandon represents the steadier choice - the man Katrina's head recommends even as her heart pulls toward Eugene - and his faith and dependability make him a genuine contender rather than a mere obstacle. He is confident enough in his standing with Katrina to ask for her hand himself, leaving her to pray earnestly over which suitor to accept.
