Vance King

Vance King is the resident bully of Odyssey's school scene. He is best known for choosing a "Target of the Week" and hounding that student with sneaky pranks, from hidden microphones to noisemakers rigged on shoes. He is careful enough to make himself hard to catch, and he will do almost anything for money. A rival player once pays him to steal the basketball team's mascot and sabotage its season. He also blackmails Jay into keeping up a scheme that milks a trusting retirement-home widow for cash. Vance runs with a gang of his own and tries to pull Buck Oliver into his plans. When Buck refuses, Vance turns menacing, ambushing him in the park with the warning that he is either with him or against him.
