Moses

Moses is the man God chooses to lead the Hebrew people out of their slavery in Egypt. In Odyssey he is met through adventures in Whit's Imagination Station and in the kids' B-TV sketches. God speaks to him from a burning bush, revealing the name Yahweh, "I am that I am." At first Moses protests that he is too tongue-tied to lead anyone out of Egypt. Even so, he stands before Pharaoh and warns that at midnight the Lord will strike down every firstborn son in the land. He tells the slaves to mark their doorposts with a lamb's blood so death will pass over their homes. On that first Passover night he warns George Barclay that an unmarked door offers no protection. He leads the freed Hebrews through the parted Red Sea, and later confronts Israel for bowing to a golden calf.
