Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born in Bethlehem. Though he lived in ancient Judea, the young people of Odyssey meet him face to face through Whit's Imagination Station, which carries them into Jerusalem and the villages around it. There they watch him heal the blind, gently answer a frantic Martha, raise his beloved friend Lazarus from the tomb, and turn aside the devil's temptations with the Word of God. He is kind but unafraid, facing down hostile religious leaders and claiming the divine name "I am" for himself. He is betrayed by Judas, denied by Peter, and crucified under Pilate, yet his tomb is found empty and he lives. Again and again he turns to a young visitor, speaks their name, and asks if they will believe.
