Jenny Whittaker-Dowd

Jenny Whittaker-Dowd is the bright and talented granddaughter of John "Whit" Whittaker, the beloved owner of Whit's End. She is the daughter of Jana and the sister of Monty. Jenny has a genius IQ and taught herself to play the violin. She first came to Odyssey to spend Christmas with her grandfather. Her gifts draw envy from others, and Monty often struggles to be known as more than "Jenny's brother." Yet her kindness matches her intelligence. She once quietly let a jealous rival shine in a concert tryout, and gained a friend by doing it. For all her ability, she can be reluctant to risk a mistake in front of others, and once walked out of a play rather than chance one. Whit sees in her a brilliant heart as well as a brilliant mind.
