Jason Whittaker

Jason Whittaker is the younger son of John Avery Whittaker, the founder of Whit's End in Odyssey. Before coming to town he worked for a government intelligence agency, where he met Tasha Forbes, a woman he nearly married. He first took charge of Whit's End while his father was away on an archaeological dig in the Middle East, and his old spy work has pulled him back into the field many times since. He now runs the Triple J Antiques shop in town. A committed Christian, Jason also serves on mission trips around the world. He is bold, restless, and quick to act, and his zeal sometimes outruns his judgment. He is devoted to his father, and he grew up admiring his older brother Jerry, who was killed in Vietnam.
