Drake

Drake, better known as Drake the Cosmic Copper, is a fictional detective who stars in the comic books Wooton dreams up at Whit's End. His adventures are sometimes brought to life as radio dramas by Wooton's friends there. Within those stories, Drake works as a cosmic police officer in the far future, cracking cases alongside his robot partner Woots. He is tough but fair-minded. He refuses to attack what he does not understand, and he asks the questions nobody else bothers with. That patience once led him to Stella, a cheerful synthetic girl who now lives with him as his adopted daughter. Drake's cases carry Wooton's faith into space. He reminds those he meets that God can use good and bad alike to shape us, and that love is never wrong.
