Dr. Hawthorne

Dr. Hawthorne is a teacher in the town of Odyssey with a reputation for strictness. Their classroom is where students such as Trent DeWhite struggle through math story problems, and misconduct is punished firmly. When Trent and Marvin were caught cheating and showing disrespect, both received zeros and detention. That severity makes Hawthorne a frequent target of schoolyard schemes. Rodney Rathbone once plotted to loose a jar of bees in their car. Later, David Straussberg and a troublemaker named Cameron planned to poison their prize roses. Away from school, Hawthorne keeps a garden at home and takes particular pride in those roses. Their most significant relationships are with pupils, among them Trent, Marvin, and the Straussberg siblings, Mandy and David.
