Captain Absolutely

Captain Absolutely is a comic-book superhero created by Wooton Bassett, who first dreamed him up on the spot during a Kids' Radio broadcast. Within his stories he defends the city of Metropolitanville in the name of truth, justice, and lots more truth. He began as Josiah King, a mild-mannered librarian. King survived an explosion at his library, read through a hidden room full of Bibles, and awoke with superpowers and a hero's calling. His foes include Dr. Relative, who insists nothing is really wrong, the joy-destroying Lord Foulspleen, and The Unifier, whom he trapped in his Orb of Order. Beyond the radio adventures, he stars in his own comic strip in The Whole Truth, the kids' newspaper published out of Whit's End.
