Bill Kendall

Bill Kendall is Connie's father and the divorced husband of June Kendall. He is a restless, largely absent figure in his daughter's life. He tends to breeze into Odyssey unannounced for rare visits, then vanish again for long stretches. His contact often shrinks to a late card and a check in place of a real apology. He is charming but unreliable, impatient, and driven by the pursuit of money over family. That drive has cost him dearly, and beneath the bluster he carries deep guilt over the ways he has failed the people closest to him. He keeps his distance from church and from faith, which matters greatly to Connie. Even so, flashes of genuine love for his daughter break through, and their strained bond never fully breaks.
