Lauren Tanner

Lauren Tanner is a Secret Service agent drawn to Odyssey by the Green Ring, a counterfeiting operation that had been working near the town for years. Tanner joins the investigation alongside Whit and Detective Polehaus after a backpack stuffed with a hundred thousand dollars in fake cash turns up. It was Tanner who broke the news that Whit's grandson Monty, an undercover agent, had supposedly gone rogue and then slipped out of the hospital in stolen clothes. As the case deepened, suspicion grew that someone inside the Secret Service had blown Monty's cover, and Polehaus noticed that one agent had reached Odyssey a little too fast. Tanner's true loyalties remain an open question as the hunt for the counterfeiters closes in.
