Queen Jezebel

Jezebel is the queen of ancient Israel and the evil wife of King Ahab. Children from Odyssey meet her when the Imagination Station carries them back into her time, three years into a terrible drought. She is a fierce worshipper of Baal and demands that others bow before her god. She is suspicious, ruthless, and quick to order a death. When Robyn Jacobs wandered into her palace, Jezebel decided the girl's strange clothes and talk of telephones were the marks of a spy. She had Robyn dragged to the temple and sentenced her to die when the girl refused to kneel. She stands opposed to the prophet Elijah, who confronts her husband before God brings back the rain. With Ahab she also took a vineyard from an innocent man.
