Obadiah

Obadiah was the official in charge of King Ahab's palace and a faithful believer in the Lord during a dangerous time in Israel. Queen Jezebel hunted God's prophets while Ahab supported the worship of Baal, yet Obadiah quietly protected those the rulers wanted destroyed. He hid prophets in caves and supplied them with food and water. When Robyn Jacobs was trapped in ancient Israel and sentenced to die for refusing to bow to Baal, Obadiah sheltered her with the hidden believers. His position inside the palace placed him close to power, but his deepest loyalty belonged to God. Cautious, courageous, and compassionate, Obadiah served faithfully when open resistance could have cost him everything.
