Billings is a law-enforcement agent caught up in the London hunt for the terrorist Grote, a criminal mastermind smuggling deadly bacteria hidden inside rare Asian artifacts. He works alongside Jason Whittaker, an American operative from Odyssey who has been framed and hunted through the city. Together the two follow a tracking device, disguised as a coat button, through old heating ducts on the trail of a missing crate of lethal vases. Billings carries a heavy personal wound: Grote murdered his partner. That loss drives him, and his hunger for revenge can push him to the edge of taking justice into his own hands. Jason's willingness to stand in his way tests how far Billings will really go.
