Sheriff Bill

Bill is the sheriff of Odyssey, the small town where John Avery Whittaker runs Whit's End, a place built to help kids. As the local lawman, he steps in when trouble in town becomes a legal matter. His most notable duty came after an explosion tore through Whit's End and left young Lucy badly bruised, with a possible concussion. While Whit, Connie, and Eugene waited at the hospital for news of her condition, Bill arrived carrying a court order and explained that there had to be an investigation into the accident. Whit told him the order was unnecessary. He had already decided to conduct his own inquiry and to close Whit's End until further notice, since the place meant to help children had instead harmed one.
