Dr. Traci Mulligan

Traci Mulligan is a farm wife and mother who lives just outside Odyssey with her husband Mike and their blind daughter Lisa. Her household is built on a family promise: when God's will is clear, say yes - whatever it costs. Saying yes keeps the farm crowded. The Mulligans take in a whole menagerie of rescued animals, from ostriches and kangaroos to a baby elephant, along with a stream of young people who need a home. These include Nick, a rough-edged cousin from New York, twin sisters Jessica and Janelle, and Hector, newly arrived from Colombia. Money is often tight and the animals keep escaping, but Traci stays steady. Alongside Mike, she patiently teaches the children under her roof that different does not mean wrong.
