Carla Perkins

Carla Perkins is a military wife and mother living in Odyssey. Her husband Ron is a Marine serving seven thousand miles away, and she holds the household together through his deployment. She raises their two children, Bridget and nine-year-old Wyatt, largely on her own. The strain shows at times. When Ron goes silent for days, she scrubs the house at all hours and jumps at every ringing phone. Still, she stays attentive to her kids. She worries when Wyatt's daredevil stunts land him in the emergency room, and she works patiently to reach Bridget when her daughter pulls away. She also holds her children accountable, marching them back to apologize when their antics upend another military family. Warm and devoted even when weary, she keeps the family steady through every goodbye.
