Brad Dillard

Brad Dillard is a boy in Odyssey, best known as the driving force behind Kids Radio. It was his idea that the town needed a radio station just for kids. He saw the dusty old broadcasting equipment upstairs at Whit's End as the perfect place to start. The other children cheered the plan, and Whit even persuaded the mayor to grant a license. But when the real work began, the helpers vanished. That left Brad and Sherman, a boy the others laughed at, to repair the ancient machines and run everything themselves. The two became the first duo ever to broadcast on Kids Radio. Their first broadcast was a glorious mess, and Brad spent exhausting hours alone on the air. Still, the program director of Odyssey Radio had been listening, and he invited the pair onto his station every Saturday morning.
