Bennett Charles

Bennett Charles is the chief enforcer of the Andromeda corporation and the loyal right-hand man of its shadowy leader, known as the Chairman. In Odyssey he oversees the operations of Novacom, an Andromeda front, restructuring its chain of command and pressuring its employees into cooperation. He is ruthless and calculating. He keeps his targets under close watch, threatens careers to get what he wants, and thinks nothing of double-crossing people who strike bargains with him. His schemes center on seizing John Whittaker's inventions, above all the Imagination Station, along with Eugene Meltsner's radio-wave research. That mission makes Whit and his friends his chief opponents. Among his operatives is Monica Stone, a hired spy who handles much of the dangerous fieldwork. Whatever the setback, Charles remains devoted to the Chairman and vengeful toward anyone who crosses him.
