Ann Jacobs

Ann Jacobs is the mother of Robyn and Melanie Jacobs and the wife of Dale, part of a churchgoing family in the town of Odyssey. She raises her daughters with patience and a light touch. When Robyn invents a wild story about a stolen bike, Ann and Dale let the lie collapse on its own rather than confront her. She offers gentle advice when Melanie struggles with a blind pen pal, and a quiet nudge from her helps Melanie confess a scheme against her sister. She also comes to Robyn's rescue during a late night of cramming, and expects honesty from her when she cheats on the test anyway. On a trip to London with Dale, Ann even helps the fugitive Jason Whittaker recover his hidden equipment.
