Amanda (a)
Amanda is one of the kids of Odyssey and part of the crowd at Whit's End, the soda fountain run by Whit. She plays baseball for the Odyssey Coyotes. She joined the other children in filming a big movie at Whit's End. When a power failure darkened the whole town mid-shoot, she assumed the fun was over without cameras and lights. Instead, Whit turned candles and pie tins into footlights, and Amanda took part in a live stage show about the history of communication. Like the rest of the kids, she found that being together beat any electric gadget, and she did not want the show to end when the power came back on.
