Adventure has a way of finding the folks at Whit's End. A runaway slave in ancient Rome, a fiery showdown on Mount Carmel, a treasure riddle hidden in an old pipe organ, a daring rescue on a wartime beach... every trail leads somewhere no one expected. Whit, Connie, Robyn, Jack and the others are learning that the biggest missions rarely look big at the start - sometimes they begin with a stolen bike, an armload of lumber, or a mysterious two-word letter from England. But who decides which missions matter? And what does it take to finish one when the road gets hard? Every step becomes a test of courage, honesty and faith, because God has a mission for everyone - even a kid. Will they see theirs through to hear those two wonderful words... mission accomplished?
