Two-Bits Luker is a violent criminal who works for the old con man Jebidiah Skint. Armed with a baseball bat, he searches Odyssey for a hope chest, a rocking chair, and papers connected to Buck Oliver's mother. He smashes property and frightens people while following Skint's orders. Two-Bits is less interested in understanding the hidden documents than in forcing others to reveal where they are. His aggression helps Skint pressure Buck and the Meltsner family as they investigate Buck's past. Blunt, intimidating, and loyal to his employer, Two-Bits supplies the physical threat behind a scheme built largely on secrets and deception.
