Miles Pulaski

Miles Pulaski is a young boy from a military family, the son of Howard and Shelly Pulaski and brother of Darcy. His household knows the strains of service life, including a mother who loses sleep over the worry of deployment. Miles is sweet, earnest, and trusting to a fault. He believes nearly anything he hears, from a wild tale about rat milk to daring stunts in online videos. That trust once drew him up a closed trail in the rain to imitate a hero, and he had to be pulled off a crumbling ledge. His best friend is Wyatt Perkins, whose friendship with him runs on less talking and more bouncing. Miles also attends church group and Vacation Bible School, where his honest doubts about the Noah story earned patient encouragement from Whit.
