Henry Lee

Henry Lee was a young messenger aboard the Titanic who knew the ship's hidden stairs, work areas, and crew. He befriended third class passenger Nina Hankins and secretly guided her through first class, the wireless room, and even toward the crow's nest. Certain the new ship was unsinkable, Henry initially dismissed the danger of iceberg warnings. After the collision, he helped Nina search for her father and urged her toward a lifeboat. Henry was later thrown into the freezing sea, where Reverend John Hankins gave him a life belt and prayed with him. He survived on an overturned boat, became a pastor, and eventually found Nina again in Odyssey. His life carried forward the faith and sacrifice shown to him during disaster.
