Colby Cabrera

Colby Cabrera is a boy in Odyssey with a gift for building things out of popsicle sticks. His hobby has earned him a nickname he hates and steady mockery from Rodney Rathbone, who rarely misses a chance to torment him. Beneath the teasing, Colby is patient, loyal, and quietly brave. When Austin O'Conner once joined in the ridicule to protect himself, Colby refused to return the cruelty, and his kindness helped Austin own up to his own unusual hobby. Colby also found a friend in Wooton, and together they rebuilt Wooton's demolished Christmas stable entirely from popsicle sticks. His father, Steven Cabrera, formerly worked for Novacom, and after the company's collapse Colby endured suspicion and taunts about his family - hardship that ultimately deepened his pride in his dad.
