Brad Rowl

Brad Rowl is a student, basketball player, and captain of the Odyssey Owls. Confident on the court, he struggles badly with classroom presentations because speaking in front of Valerie makes him nervous. Ryan Cummings helps him prepare, even after Brad has mocked Ryan's dramatic style. When Ryan later exposes Brad's private crush in a class video, Brad admits his own cruelty helped start the conflict and chooses forgiveness. Brad also becomes frustrated when attention surrounding Ryan's faith overshadows the rest of their basketball team. He publicly blames Ryan, then reconsiders after seeing that Ryan's kindness away from the court matches what he says about Jesus. Competitive and sometimes quick to judge, Brad can also apologize, forgive, and return his focus to teamwork.
