Andy Rome

Andy Rome is a student at Odyssey Middle School and the editor of the school newspaper, the Odyssey Owl. At the paper he decides what gets published and pairs new writers with experienced ones to learn the ropes. He also takes Mr. McBane's basic programming class, where he works in a group with Trey Calhoun, Corinne, and Morrie Rydell. For his class project he planned a program about rodent archaeology. When Morrie mocked the group's ideas, Andy and Corinne wrote him off as a major jerk, though the group later accepted Morrie's apology and agreed to build a new project together. As editor he once declared a newcomer's article cutting-edge and rushed it into print, bumping a nearly finished, time-sensitive piece by Zoe Grant.
