Aaron Hall is a security man for Family Survivor, a company that operates out of a guarded industrial park near Connellsville, not far from Odyssey. The outfit keeps its business behind fences and strange secrecy, and Hall is the face outsiders meet when they come asking questions. When Wally Haggler traced a missing trunk belonging to Connie Kendall's late mother to the site, Hall handed it back, still locked, without explaining what his employers were up to. He also warned Wally that no one should go near Hangman's Hollow, the spooky stretch of woods nearby. Pressed on what would happen to anyone who did, he answered only with a dry, pointed mention of the ghost town said to sit out that way.
