Malachi

Malachi is a mysterious, well-dressed stranger who visits the citizens of Odyssey, claiming to be an angel sent by God to deliver messages. He first appeared without warning inside the Imagination Station at Whit's End - unconscious and carrying no identification. He has a habit of walking into rooms unannounced, calling people by name, and telling them things no outsider could know. He once vanished from a hospital room and turned up in Whit's empty car. His messages steer people toward their purpose. He directed Tom Riley to dig beneath the cabin of Tom's dead son Timmy, and he showed Connie the people of Odyssey as souls swirling with light and darkness. Whit could not decide whether he was a fraud, a madman, or exactly what he claimed. Jason suspected espionage, but the FBI and the Pentagon found nothing.
