Darcy Pulaski

Darcy Pulaski is a young girl in Odyssey, the daughter of Howard and Shelly Pulaski. Hers is a military family, and life shaped by deployments has taught the household hard lessons about goodbyes. Darcy herself is warm and openhearted. She hands out barbecue invitations freely, tells people plainly what they mean to her, and knows her Bible well enough to answer an adult's fears with a verse about perfect love. Her faith is simple but sturdy, and it shows most in her remarkable readiness to forgive. She looks up to student teacher Renee Carter, whom she once named her Christian hero in a school paper - the kind of admiration that both unsettles and encourages the grown-ups it lands on.
