Cheryl McCormick

Cheryl McCormick is a classmate and close friend of Connie Kendall's in the town of Odyssey. She is an observant and sincere girl. She watched Connie change after Connie arrived in town, and that change stirred questions of her own. She came to Whit's End one day not for ice cream but for answers, and she found the faith she had seen in her friend. Since then she has been a steady spiritual companion to Connie. She asks the hard questions when Connie drifts, as she did when Connie began skipping Bible study and church over a new boyfriend. Cheryl once tried out for the glee club, buoyed by a fad about positive attitude, but the audition fell flat. Her friendship with Connie remains her defining tie.
