Brian (Butch) Evans
Brian Evans, better known as Butch, is a boy in Odyssey who was once Sam Johnson's best friend. He now runs with the Bones of Wrath, the vandal gang led by Rodney Rathbone. As Butch, he puts on a tough shell and mocks the things Sam cares about. Underneath, the old friendship still pulls at him. He shares a childhood with Sam full of skateboards, baseball cards, and even a prayer tucked inside a borrowed Bible. He treasures his baseball card collection above almost everything he owns. Gang life keeps testing where his loyalty really lies, and Sam keeps offering him a way back. Whether he answers to Brian or to Butch remains a choice only he can make.
