Something strange is going on in Odyssey: the truth is disappearing. A game show insists nothing is really true, a traveling showman sells made-to-order gods, a brand-new newspaper wants dirt instead of facts. But if everyone gets to invent their own truth, what happens to the real one? Whit, Connie, Jill, Nelson and their friends set out to find it, and the search carries them from the clubhouses of a town run entirely by kids to the storm-tossed deck of the Mayflower. Along the way they face a question as old as the prophets: when God asks, "Whom shall I send?", somebody has to answer. Standing up in a world that prefers a comfortable lie will take courage, honesty and compassion. Will they follow the truth wherever it leads... and will you?
