February 25, 2005
As has become something of a Friday tradition, The Official Site has posted the fourth clue of the "Something Big" that goes down on April 2. Like clue three, it's a sound clip featuring the same man (who we now know is named Dr. Foster) speaking with Mr. Whittaker. Give it a listen!

I've received a few comments from visitors informing me that the countdown clock at the top is incorrect. They've pointed out that it's counting down to one day before the "Something Big" happens. The response I gave them is the same I give you here: It is intentional. :o)

My review is up for this weekend's episode: "Tuesdays with Wooton". Keep in mind that this is the last show that will air for the next 5 weeks and the next new episode we hear will be the start of the "Something Big" that will happen in Odyssey.

I'm also putting together several Talk to the Paw responses for posting later this week, so if you have a question you'd liked answered, send it in and I'll try and have it ready in time!

The third clue for the "Something Big" promotion is available today at The Official Site. And this time, you'll get a "double shot" of what to expect with both an image and a sound byte! So if you're dying to figure out what big thing is going to occur on April 2, you won't want to miss it!

I've also got a promo sheet for two Radio Theatre shows: "Bonhoeffer: The Cost of Freedom" and "The Hiding Place". The former has been available for quite some time but the latter is due out May 2005. It tells the story of Corrie ten Boom and her family's struggle with the Nazi's. It sounds very heartbreaking. Also, despite some of the technical problems over at RadioTheatre.org, they are trying their best to fix them... and are in the process of adding many Production Details to shows like they did for "Little Women". So check them out if you get the chance and give some support towards Radio Theatre! They are truly terrific productions, but just don't get the exposure they deserve.

Happy Valentine's Day!

And to celebrate, my review is now up for "Lost By a Nose". Next week "Tuesdays with Wooton" will air and that will be the last new episode until April 2... which we all know is the big day in Odyssey. Oh, and I was going through some of my old Soda Fountain files and came across this image. It's a picture of the original Soda Fountain as it looked January 26, 2000. Neat huh? ;o) Click to make it larger!

Leilani Wells' episode "The Last 'I Do'" airs today! She was an intern with the Odyssey team this past fall, much like I was in 2002 (which you can read more about in The Odyssey Scrapbook). My review for the episode is here. Also, since I didn't review "Lost By a Nose" last week, I'll try and have it for you tomorrow. Thankfully this week will be less stressful than last!

At some point today The Official Site will be posting the second of eight clues relating to that "Something Big" that will happen in Odyssey on April 2. After you check it out, you might want to join in on the discussion happening at The Town Hall and let your own ideas be known!

May I present the final piece of the booklet for "Mission: Accomplished". This album, along with "On Thin Ice" and "Beyond Expectations", will be available in your local Christian Bookstore as well as the Focus on the Family website in March.

As promised, here is the second of three images for the booklet of Gold Audio # 6: "Mission: Accomplished". Since I really don't have any other AIO news to share, I'd just like to remind everyone that "At the Back of the North Wind", the latest Radio Theatre, has been available from the Focus on the Family website for quite some time... be sure to pick up a copy and support Radio Theatre! Which brings me to this thread at The Town Hall... please take a moment or two and give me your feedback. I'd love to know what you think!

In preparation for the the release of the next batch of Gold Audio albums, I'd like to reveal (piece by piece) images of the booklet you'll receive when you pick up a copy (remember they include never before released shows and are digitally remastered!). So here's the first of three images of the booklet for Gold Audio # 6: "Mission: Accomplished".

Also if you've noticed anything besides the "Something Big..." promotion at The Official Site, you may have seen they've added an AIO Resource list which features ordering information for every album (and individual episodes!) as well as other merchandise. There's even a checklist of items... so why not print it off and see how your collection stacks up against other AIO fans? Just look for the Adobe PDF logo in the bottom right corner of the main page.

"Lost By a Nose" is available on Oneplace! Unfortunately, my review isn't ready yet and won't be this weekend... I have a rather large programming assignment that will take precedence. However, there are reviews available at Frank's Breakfast Inn and The Town Hall, and Eugene Forever should have his up later today or tomorrow.

Today The Official Site has posted the first of many clues relating to "Something Big" that will happen in Odyssey on April 2. To get access to the clue, just click on the banner at the top of the page that says "Something Big is Happening..." and you'll be taken to a page with a countdown clock and placeholders for future clues. Every Friday until the big day there will be another hint posted, but in the meantime, head to The Town Hall and share your theories!

Something big is happening in Odyssey...

But what on earth is it? Who is involved? When will we know? Currently, the only information available to us is a teaser on The Official Site... but more clues will emerge as time passes. Let your imagination run wild with theories and ideas about what this big event could be... the death of a favorite character? The return of a long lost nerd? The emergence of a new villain? A secret project that goes awry? The long awaited marriage of a soda jerk? An earth shattering revelation about someone we love's past? Or, could it be that Focus on the Family has found a way to even further branch out Adventures in Odyssey... we've had the radio drama, the books, the 30 minutes videos, and the toys... where do you go from there? Well, keep tuned to The Official Site cause the answers will blow your socks off!
